WHO YOU ARE 


 - You are passionate about home furnishing, retail design, trends and customer behavior 


- You are an experienced leader that develops and inspires the visual merchandise/interior design/graphic design managers and other functions in the store in increasing home furnishing interest of the many people and creating exciting, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that exceed visitors’ expectations, strengthen the IKEA brand and convert more visitors into customers 


- Your sense of entrepreneurship and your nose for business enables you to draw up, implement and follow up on short-, mid-, and long term plans as well as setting and keeping to budget


- You have a solid experience as a creative leader and you are a real team player that knows how to collaborate with colleagues from different functions, which enables you to solve problems, make decisions and steer the business in a challenging and fast changing retail environment 


- You are driven to exceed goals, improve ways of working, developing both business and people to achieve common goals 


- You have a design based education or extensive work experience in a design-orientated role 


- You always put customers in the center of everything you do 


  YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 


 - You inspire and engage your team to keep the IKEA store vital, up to date and innovative, in order to always offer something new for our customers 


- You lead and develop a high performing and passionate communication & interior design team that achieves goals, with the aim of long-term growth and profitability 


- You are accountable for the layout of the store and to execute range presentations with high quality, strong visual impact and efficiency that provide an inspiring and convenient shopping experience for our customers and that will strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA brand identity 


- Together with the management team of the store you translate the national strategy into a local business plan, using your knowledge of IKEA home furnishing and people’s life at home to grow the business 


- You identify current and futures business needs in order to recruit, develop and retain a high performing and passionate store communication & interior design team 


- You spot and act quickly upon commercial opportunities 


- You create an outstanding customer experience
