Job Description Internal Communications Expert in the CoE Comms, Brand & MarCom 

Your role 

The Internal Communications Expert Team is a team of 4 people (including the Expert Lead). The purpose of the team is to implement the internal communication strategy to build and maintain ING Belgium’s reputation with the different stakeholders. The team is responsible for and/or involved in translating the organization's strategy and priorities into internal communication plans, advising the business and other stakeholders, identifying key information, managing projects and ensuring the right channels are in place, to support the achievement of ING Belgium's strategic objectives.

You will be replacing one of the team members who’s on maternity leave for 6 months. Your focus will be on employee engagement projects and supporting the rest of the team to execute the internal comms plan 2026 during the 1st 6 months of the year.

Core Tasks

Your key responsibilities 

• Executing the overall Internal Communication plan for ING Belgium focussing on strategic clarity and employee engagement

• Set up communication initiatives, contests and events to increase employee engagement

• Advising and supporting the business in their communication needs

• Writing newsletters, scripts, intranet news articles and Viva Engage posts

• Management of the Viva Engage ING BE community - including bi-weekly planning Viva Engage posts

• Management and follow up of internal campaign “101 raisons to love ING”, launched in April 2025 running until end 2026

• Coordinate creation of internal videos with ING studio or external suppliers

As An Internal Communications Expert You Will Also Need

• A Batchelor or Master degree in Communication

• To be trilingual: French – English- Dutch (preference FR mother tongue for equal balance in the team)

• To exemplify Orange Code behaviours.

• To be a clear and concise communicator

• To be a creative and innovative thinker

• To be flexible and mobile (presence at events)

• To be result driven
