Wygwam, a division of the Niko Group, is an organization specializing in building automation and interfaces. Within our MOTIV team, we design experiences at the intersection of physical products and digital infrastructure. From wall-mounted devices to cloud-based applications and configuration software, we build technology that feels intuitive, calm, and meaningful.
We are currently looking for a strategic Senior UX Designer who feels at home bridging hardware and software. You will play a pivotal role in shaping not just interfaces, but how our products and systems come together as a unified whole.
Key responsibilities
Own and shape end-to-end user experiences across hardware, software, and services
Translate complex technical systems into clear, intuitive, and usable experiences
Collaborate closely with product management, development, and fellow designers to ensure seamless execution
Define the UX direction and continuously raise the bar for quality and consistency
Contribute to a strong, shared design vision across the entire MOTIV ecosystem
Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals effectively
Challenge assumptions and help teams make better, user-centric decisions through UX insights
What you'll bring
Solid experience in UX design, ideally within complex or technical domains
A strong passion for hardware and software, and a deep understanding of how they influence each other
Strong UX fundamentals: you excel in hierarchy, structure, flows, and interaction design
The ability to think in overarching systems, rather than just single screens or isolated features
Comfort working closely with development teams and navigating technical constraints pragmatically
A sharp eye for detail, clarity, and overall design craft
