Who you are
You are passionate about home furnishing, interior design, trends, how people live at home and customer behavior
You inspire, lead and develop a team of interior design co-workers in creating relevant, functional, aesthetic, inspiring, sustainable, affordable and commercial range presentations that exceed visitors’ expectations, strengthen the IKEA brand and convert more visitors into customers
You are a real team player and know how to collaborate with colleagues from different functions
You see challenges as opportunities and dare to make decisions in a fast changing retail environment
You are driven to improve ways of working, develop both business and people to achieve common goals
You have an interior design based education or similar work experience in leading creative processes
You always put customers in the center of everything you do
Your responsibilities
We offer you 36 hours/week. 36h is a fulltime contract at IKEA
You inspire and engage your team to keep the IKEA store vital, up to date and innovative, in order to always offer something new for our customers
You lead, develop and recruit a high performing and passionate team that achieves goals, with the aim of long-term growth and profitability
Together with your team you are responsible for the home furnishing solutions (room sets) and sales support areas, that reflect a wide variety of styles, living situations and price levels
You connect with (inter)national stakeholders in securing the agenda and goals of Interior Design.
Together with our team you implement range presentations with high quality, strong visual impact and efficiency that provide an inspiring and convenient shopping experience for our customers and that will strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA brand identity
You translate the business plan of the store into specific action plans for your department
You spot and act quickly upon commercial opportunities
You create an outstanding customer experience
